Event 15: Abe Korotki - 2nd Place

$1000 + $90 Six-Max NLH

Abe Korotki - 2nd Place - $20,059

Every time I looked up Honest Abe Korotki was raising turns and taking down pot after pot.

He was the chip leader for a good stretch of Event 15 and played a lot of hands.

Abe didn't have many chips heads up in comparison to Alex Berenson and it only lasted four or five hands.

The final hand had some interesting, dare I say, mystical antics.

Abe had A-10 of diamonds up against Alex's J-K of spades.

Abe shoved all his chips into the middle after seeing a rainbow flop of 7-K-J.

Alex calls and Abe starts shouting, "Queen, Queen, Queen". Sure enough a queen hits the felt.

Abe begins to celebrate as we hear Alex start to call for a Jack. "Jack, Jack, Jack".
I can't make this stuff up - sure enough, the Jack hit the river and the tournament came to it's dramatic conclusion.

Abe couldn't believe it. He wouldn't have lasted as long as he did if not for the support and "luck" from his wife railbird Saleena.

"I've been rooting him on the whole time...I'm his lucky charm", said Saleena.

A great payday for Abe Korotki who takes home $20,059 for second place.
