Event 16: Broadway Dough-tunes

$2500 + $200 Championship NLH

Tarcisio Ferreira (Long Branch, NJ) just stood up and clapped his hand. The pot was only 10,000 but when you're short stacked that's like winning every chip in the room. It's as if you just won more time - to see more hands - to try and win more chips.

What a hand it was!

Ferreira knocked out Mike Trivisonno (Lyndhurst, OH) after catching runner, runner for broadway. Trivisonno shoved pre-flop with A-8 of hearts and Tarcisio Ferreira called holding Q-J.

Board ran: 3-10-10-K-A.

Down to four tables of nine as 36 remain.
