Event 16: The Pychology Of Poker

$2500 + $200 Championship NLH

Bill Fabian (Washington, DC)

Is poker a game of luck or a game of skill? Bill Fabian is a psychologist from Washington DC and is weighing in on the side of luck.

One opponent at his table went all in, pushing Bill off a draw - then a few hands later the same guy goes all in again. Once - fine, but twice makes him a bully.

This time Bill flopped two pair and felt he was ready to battle - so he called.
Unfortunately, his opponent had already flopped a set.

"I let that guy get to me" admitted Bill.

Fabian's window of opportunity has shrunk to 7500.

I asked Bill if he uses his education and field of studies to gain a "psychological" edge on the other players.

"Luck is the only edge you need", declared Bill.
